ditch discord and chat on xmpp
Download and install Gajim from https://gajim.org/download/ for your operating system (Windows, Linux, or macOS).
Open Gajim. On first launch, you will see the "Welcome to Gajim" screen.
Click the button that says "I do not have an account yet" or similar.
In the field labeled "Server" or "XMPP Server", type exactly:
theattic.cyou
Do not add https:// or anything else. Just the domain name.
Click "Next" or "Continue".
You will be prompted to enter:
- Username: Choose your desired username (for example,
retard). This will become your JID (Jabber ID):retard@theattic.cyou. - Password: Choose a secure password.
Click "Next".
Gajim will contact the server theattic.cyou and attempt to create your account.
If successful, you will see a confirmation message. Click "Finish".
You are now logged in.
You can start adding contacts by clicking the "Add Contact" button and entering their JID (like friend@theattic.cyou).
